| Job Purpose | We are seeking a passionate and tech-savvy Program Manager to design, implement, and oversee educational programs that empower rural students in India with digital literacy, coding, and an understanding of artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology education, experience working with rural communities, and a deep commitment to bridging the digital divide. You will be responsible for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing timelines and budgets, while ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders |
| Principal Accountabilities | Program Implementation and Management
● Oversee projects that are focused towards Digital Literacy / Coding / Artificial Intelligence ● Create detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and team allocation strategies ● Oversee all aspects of program execution, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and quality standards ● Work closely with cross-functional teams to align to the assigned projects ● Manage relationships with donor organizations, community leaders, and other key stakeholders. ● Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies ● Adapt program activities and approaches as needed to ensure maximum impact Monitoring and Evaluation ● Establish clear program performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) ● Develop and implement data collection systems to monitor program progress ● Conduct regular evaluations to assess program effectiveness and impact ● Document key findings and lessons learned for future program development Reporting and Communication · Prepare regular progress reports for internal stakeholders, funders, and relevant partners. · Ensure clear and transparent communication with donors regarding program milestones and impact. · Communicate effectively with beneficiaries, community members, and other stakeholders. |
| Skills Required | ● Minimum 5 years of experience as a project / program manager or in a technology-related role that will be relevant to this position
● Bachelor’s Degree in Education / Computer Science or a related field to this position ● Proven track record of successfully designing and managing social impact programs ● Strong understanding of coding concepts, digital literacy best practices, emerging trends in artificial intelligence, ● Keen understanding of needs assessment, community engagement, and program evaluation methodologies ● Exceptional project management, organizational, and time management skills ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills ● Proficiency in excel, data analysis and reporting software |
