Position: Project Coordinator-Climate Change

Location: Marwa Mundwa, Rajsathan

Salary: 30 to 40 K per month

Job Description:

As a Climate Change Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to address the challenges posed by climate change. Working at the intersection of environmental science, policy, and community engagement, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing initiatives aimed at mitigating and adapting to climate change impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategies Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to research, analyze, and develop climate change strategies. Stay abreast of local, national, and international climate strategies to ensure alignment.

Project Management: Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of climate-related interventions. This may include carbon reduction activities and resilience-building activities.

Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community groups, and governmental agencies to promote awareness and engagement in climate action initiatives. Organize educational programs and events to encourage sustainable practices.

Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to greenhouse gas emissions, climate trends, and other relevant environmental indicators. Use this data to inform decision-making and assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies.

Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Education Qualification: B.Tech (Ag)

Work Experience: At least two years of work experience in climate change.
