Salary: 25k to max 30K

Job Summary:

As a Community Mobilizer for our Skill Development Center, you will play a pivotal role in spreading awareness about the center, conducting field counseling sessions, and mobilizing youth from rural areas and villages to enroll in our Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI) programs. The position requires a dynamic individual with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a 100% field-based role. A 2-wheeler is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Community Awareness:
    • Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness about the Skill Development Center within the community.
    • Conduct outreach activities, including community meetings, awareness campaigns, and door-to-door visits.
  1. Field Counseling:
    • Engage with individuals and families in the field to provide information about SEDI programs.
    • Conduct counseling sessions to address queries, discuss program benefits, and encourage enrollment.
  1. Youth Mobilization:
    • Identify and connect with youth in rural areas and villages.
    • Create and maintain a database of potential candidates interested in skill development programs.
  1. Promotion of Programs:
    • Promote specific skill development programs offered by SEDI in alignment with the needs of the local community.
    • Collaborate with local leaders, influencers, and community organizations to enhance program visibility.
  1. Collaboration and Networking:
    • Establish and maintain partnerships with local NGOs, community leaders, and government agencies to facilitate program promotion and enrollment.
  1. Event Coordination:
    • Organize and participate in community events, job fairs, and educational exhibitions to showcase SEDI programs.
  1. Data Collection:
    • Collect and maintain accurate data on the number of individuals reached, inquiries received, and successful enrollments.
  1. Feedback Mechanism:
    • Establish a feedback mechanism to gather input from the community, helping to improve program relevance and outreach strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Postgraduate or graduate from any stream.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community mobilization, outreach, or related fields.
  • Proven success in mobilizing individuals and communities for skill development programs.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a field-based setting.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Possession of a 2-wheeler and a valid driving license.
