About the role:
Associate Director Monitoring & Evaluation would lead the entire Monitoring, Assessment, Evaluation, Review and Reporting portfolio of the foundation. The person would bring on-board complete functional understanding/knowhow of designing, implementing and maintaining complete Project Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning System – LFA/M&E Framework, MIS and Data Capturing Templates from field to HO level, Data Analysis, generating relevant inferences and evidence from field to monitoring project progress and enhance the quality of the project etc.
The person would also be responsible for generation of high quality project/impact reports, case studies/success stories and content for social media platforms. S/he would organize knowledge sharing events such as webinars, stakeholders meet etc. Lead content creation of various forms – video, photos and maintain foundation social media channels with the support of Marketing and Communication team.
Ideal Candidate Profile (Essential Attributes)
- At least 5-7 years of professional experience in leading Monitoring & Evaluation portfolio of a social impact organization/NGO. Designing and implementing M&E system for social impact projects; reporting and documentation.
- Good functional knowledge of MEAL, M&E, LFA, Theory of Change/Result Based Management, tools and techniques of undertaking social research.
- Proven ability in producing high quality and analytical reports, drafting and publishing of case studies/success stories
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative methodology of study – data collection, data analysis and visualization
- Good writing and analytical skills
- Good communication (speaking and writing) skills in English. Reading & speaking ability in Hindi

Key Responsibility Areas:
- Lead the Knowledge Management work under the guidance of head of the foundation:
- Design, implement and maintain complete Project Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning System – LFA/M&E Framework, MIS and Data Capturing Templates from field to HO level
- Facilitate data collection, collation and cleaning of field level data and information.
- Analyzing data and evidences from field. Share the findings in monthly/quarterly review meetings, facilitate need based corrective measures and monitor the implementation of the same.
- Ensure that outputs and outcome of projects being implemented are aligned with the expected ones and as per the MoU/Project Document
- Create/revise all required MIS/Data Capturing templates. Orient the project team on the same and ensure its timely execution
- Create content (success stories/case studies, testimonials) from the field and coordinate with the Marcom team for its posting on social media platform
- Maintain all project related data and key information on One Drive. Guide the project team on same and ensure its periodic maintenance
- Organize Knowledge Sharing events – Webinars, Stakeholder Workshops, Partners meet etc.
- Oversee project archiving
- Project level monitoring, reporting and evaluation:
- Train and orient the project team on the MEAL system and ensure its implementation
- Regularly undertake field visit to monitor the same
- Facilitate and ensure quality and timely preparation of project reports by the project team
- Design and conduct internal project level assessment/evaluation studies
- Guide and monitor project team for conducting need assessment exercises

- Work with the vertical heads, consultant and head of the foundation towards creation of thought notes/articles
- Create content for blogs, you tube, social media posts
Travel Time: 30 to 40% of the work time and across the country.
Any other work assigned by the reporting manager or head of the foundation.
