Job Purpose:

The Monitoring and Evaluation unit supports management in measuring the outcome and impact of the programs and interventions, and using the learning to improve quality and relevance of the programs across Reliance Foundation.

The Impact Measurement Team member will effectively contribute to enhance RF’s understanding of the consequences of its programming, improving internal systems, and promoting evidence-based decision-making across RF’s program verticals. The team member will ensure that the impact measurement produced by the unit are of high quality and can be shared internally and externally to inform decision makers.

  • Contribute with M&E and Impact Measurement specific technical competence to the development of Program ToCs, LFAs, developments of indictors and plan of action
  • Support efforts to enhance RF level M&E systems and standards by supporting the development of SoPs and technical guidelines.
  • Contribute to development of RF program/vertical specific M&E technical guidance, tools and mechanism
  • Sharing programme performance with the team on a regular basis and bringing out critical issues and adverse performances, if any
  • Provide feedback regarding context changes that raise new data trends and needs assessments
  • Provide timely and robust information to promote the dissemination of learning, better project cycle management, and facilitate evidence-based decision-making through the provision of technical analysis, both internally within RF and externally with implementing partners
  • Coach and mentor M&E staff members to develop their skills and ensure high-quality evidence-based reporting.
  • Timely and accurate reporting to the Management and programme teams.
  • Periodic evaluations to measure the tangible impact of the programmes. Program and project impact are measured according to well-defined impact measurement framework
  • Production of publishable impact measurement report

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Include Additional Certification Required if any

Necessary:

•       Minimum 5 years’ experience

•       Master Degree in Social Sciences or Population Sciences or Statistics or Mathematics
