Position: Chief Agronomist Officer (1)

About Us:

The Change Makers Charitable Foundation (TCMCF) was established as not for profit organization
in the year 2019 with a purpose to develop human capital and promote sustainable farm practices.
With its head office in Bhopal, it currently works with more than 12,000 farmers in the states of
Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. It is building the portfolio of Contract farming along with
trading of organic commodities and farmer cooperatives.

It has planned to double the farmer base in the FY of 2023-24 and bring varied crops under the
contract farming portfolio. To take care of the expansion plans, TCMCF is looking forward to
onboard young, enthusiastic and delivery oriented professionals who are keen to work with the
farmers to promote contract farming through sustainable farm practices.

Job Description:
The scope of work includes but not limited to:

• Lead the production system with more than15,000 farmers across two states
• Hands-on experience on Organic and IPM Production of crops like cotton, paddy, pulses etc
• Recommend agronomists on best practices in Organic and IPM production system with the team for the various crops throughout the assigned
• Develop and disseminate advice to achieve best plant health and productivity relating to crop nutrients, crop protectants and
• To bring field wisdom to open new lines of business for the company by evaluating and selecting crops for
• Mentor and manage a team of Project Managers and
• Develop training modules and standardize all agronomy related knowledge which can be used across multiple
• Understanding of Organic certification, sampling and Testing as per export norms will be handy
• Influence and engage with key stakeholders to gather information and drive actions in a highly collaborative manner

To qualify for the role you must have:

• / MSc. (Agri.) with minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience.
• Age limit: 30-40 years with dynamic personality and good interpersonal and management skills
• Extensive travel to project areas at least 12-15 days a month

Remuneration:

• Rs 75,000-1,00,000 per month/-
• Travel and communication allowances are additional
