About Us:
The Change Makers Charitable Foundation (TCMCF) was established as not for profit organization
in the year 2019 with a purpose to develop human capital and promote sustainable farm practices.
With its head office in Bhopal, it currently works with more than 12,000 farmers in the states of
Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. It is building the portfolio of Contract farming along with
trading of organic commodities and farmer cooperatives.
It has planned to double the farmer base in the FY of 2023-24 and bring varied crops under the
contract farming portfolio. To take care of the expansion plans, TCMCF is looking forward to
onboard young, enthusiastic and delivery oriented professionals who are keen to work with the
farmers to promote contract farming through sustainable farm practices.
Job Description:
The scope of work includes but not limited to:
Project Management
- To ensure production and organic certification of the project
- To communicate and manage with different stakeholders
- To monitor team on different indicators for successful achievement of the same
- To ensure successful Organic Certification of the project
- To ensure that the quality produce is linked to the supply chain of the brand
- To coordinate closely with the supply chain for the uptake of the produce
- To ensure necessary testing protocols for crop testing at different stages are implemented and monitored
Training & Certification
- To develop Organic Package of Practice for different crops and ensure its implementation in the field
- To extend support wrt demo plots and visits to the fields
- To train the team and farmers on Agronomic practices and organic certification
- To ensure successful completion of third party audits for the entire project
Monitoring and Reporting
- Regularly visit farmers’ field to understand the crop status and guide them accordingly
- Monitor the progress of the project against indicators and update them regularly with the HO
- To monitor the training calendar, farmers’ attendance and their learning
- Check and verify the records are maintained as per NPOP guideline internal norms
- Validate the internal audits and its data and report to the HO
Key responsibilities:
- Overall management and coordination of the project
- Stakeholder management (internal, Certification Body, Depts, Brands etc)
- Successful achievement of production, procurement and organic certification is the single most important aspect of the project
- Admin and Finance management of the project along with coordination with different stakeholders
- Team management and guidance on critical aspect of the project
- Train Team and Farmers on agronomic practices and organic certification
- Monitor and report progress of the project periodically
To qualify for the role you must have:
- BSc/ MSc. (Agri.) with minimum of eight-ten years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of Organic Certification and NPOP guidelines
- Age limit : 32-38 years with dynamic personality and willingness to showcase leadership qualities
Remuneration:
- Rs 35,000-45,000 per month/-
- Travel and communication allowances are additional
