| Job Requirements |
- Responsible for identifying and leading the development of broader capacity-building and knowledge-sharing activities with the community, as required.
- Managing the project’s activities related to climate change adaptation and mitigation
- Identifying the key climate change risks and opportunities, developing strategies to mitigate these risks, and identifying opportunities to adapt to changing climate conditions.
- Conduct research and analysis on climate change issues relevant to the cotton project.
- Monitoring climate change trends and identifying the potential impacts of climate change on cotton production.
- Closely with stakeholders, including farmers, government agencies, and NGOs, to ensure that climate change issues are integrated into the cotton project’s activities.
- Coordinating with local government agencies to develop policies and programs that support climate change adaptation and mitigation.
- Developing and delivering training and education programs on climate change adaptation and mitigation for farmers, project staff, and other stakeholders.
- Collecting data on key performance indicators and reporting on progress to project stakeholders.
- Identifying funding opportunities for climate change activities in the cotton project.

| Skills |
- Understanding of the program development process and how to implement new initiatives (including planning, costing, team building, implementation strategies, building in feedback and evaluation techniques)
- Experience in working with the public on the development and implementation of community programs
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Superior interpersonal skills including ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
